Dave & Busters is totally awesome. It is really fun; there are cool arcade games, even though they are a lot of money. When you win at a game you get tickets. You can use the tickets to get prizes. For prizes I won a Nerf like football and a packet to Nerds candy. It is noisy because of the games and people talking. It is dark and big compared to another arcade place, Ryan's Entertainment in Newport. Video games, arcade games, and sports games.

This is probably one of Will's favorite places to go. I absolutely hate Dave & Busters. It is dark, large and very loud. If you go there with more than one child it is very easy to lose your kids. The kids are running around all hyper, they cannot hear instructions, and it is dark. So if you lose one of children it is extremely hard to find them. To add to the disaster they serve beer so a number of the other adults are intoxicated. Be prepared to have Dave & Busters suck the money out of your wallet. You are sure to leave aggravated and tired.

Lazer Gate - Fall River MA
Will (The Kid):
Lazer Gate is fun and it's really cool. The room is huge with mazes and ramps that bring you up top on these long paths and base like areas like 15ft. off the ground! The vests have lights on the front, back, shoulders and on the gun, which is attached to the vest with a tube and clip. There are lots of colors to choose from on the vest. If you don't like the color you can ask the attendant to change your color. Your color is your team. You can't shoot the people on your team, you can only shoot people on the other team. The objective is to shoot more people than shoot you, when you are shot your lights go off and you can't shoot for seven seconds. On the back of your gun it will tell you how many seconds are left.
If you have played a round or two, and are taking a break, you can play in the arcade section. It is split into two sections. First you need to get tokens. One section you don't get tickets to get prizes, the other section you do. then you can put you tickets in the ticket eater once you have put in all your tickets press a button and get a slip of paper that tells you how many tickets you have, with your tickets get tons of cool prizes and candy.
In my opinion Lazer Gate is great fun place to go if you can drive kind of far.

The lazer tag equipment is very high quality. The just bought the new equipment in 2011. The best part of the facility is the 5000 square feet that the game takes place in. It is very well set up with mazes and bases. There are two levels. It is lots of fun.
The cost is $6/person for a twenty minute session. During the session there is lots of running, shooting and jumping around. It is a good work out. Dark colors for your clothing is better than light clothing.
We have been twice and the staff and the other players have always been respectful and nice. The building is dump, but Lazer Gate has fixed up their area. Here is the website: http://lazergate.com/

Yawgoo Valley Skiing - Exeter Rhode Island
Will (The Kid) Review:
It was really fun. You can ski really fast, the black diamond aren't really steep so don't be afraid. You have to stay for a while because each run is short even if you go to the top of the hill. The runs last for about one to two minutes. If you get hungry or thirsty you can go in for a snack. Usually they have a fire inside, and they have Doritos and other junk food that tastes great. Also they have soda machines and hot chocolate with mini marsh mellows and whip cream on top.
I have only skied at Yawgoo and also in Montana, I have not snowboarded. So go on some other website if you want to find out about that! At first I really did not want to go. It is also fun to ski and The line to rent our equipment was super long. We had to wait at least half an hour to rent our equipment. But it was super fun. The chair lift line went through quickly. The trails were not that crowded.
Tom's (The Dad) review: It is very close, so there is no traffic. We saved big bucks on gas. We skied for half a day during school vacation week on a Thursday. It cost $50/person including rental equipment. The mountain, really it is a hill, is small but it is fun. We skied for two hours. You do spend a lot of time on the lift because the runs are so short. The snow was good. A great way to get some exercise, be outdoors and have fun with the kids. Not cheap, but lots of fun.
